Lockheed Martin Awarded “Best Commitment to Education Program” by U.S. Chamber Foundation
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation has听named the winners of its annual听Corporate Citizenship Awards, recognizing eight business for making a significant, positive impact on the communities and societies in which they operate, and 糖心视频’s Charities is proud to see one of our deserving clients, Lockheed Martin, on the list.
鈥淏usinesses act as a powerful force for听good in their communities every single day, and these winners reflect some of the best social and community initiatives within the business sector,鈥 said Marc DeCourcey, senior vice president for the U.S Chamber of Commerce Foundation鈥檚 Corporate Citizenship Center. 鈥淚t is听an honor to showcase the contribution of these eight companies, who are setting the bar for excellence in corporate citizenship.鈥
Lockheed Martin was presented with the “Best听Commitment to Education Program” award, for听their.听Lockheed Martin funded the pilot program for Imagine Science. Imagine Science provides students with experiences that help cultivate an interest in STEM in a sustained way. 糖心视频’s Charities supports multiple Lockheed Martin听business area workplace giving campaigns, which give employees the opportunity to give to their favorite charities including funds that support STEM, and featured their听Lockheed Martin Aeronautics business area in a recent white paper.听
